Every thriving ministry eventually reaches a point where the familiar no longer fuels the future. Growth demands transformation—and transformation requires change.
Too many churches and organizations want to experience increase without ever adjusting the systems, mindsets, and habits that got them where they are. But as this powerful message reveals, growth without change is impossible—and significant growth without significant change is equally impossible.

God Himself is a Creator—an Innovator, Builder, and Expander. That same divine DNA is in every believer. Ministries that carry His character are destined to multiply, innovate, and expand—but only if they continually adapt.
Leaders have the responsibility to create a “change culture” within their teams: an environment where everyone learns to face reality, solve problems, and see obstacles as opportunities for growth. When people are invited into the problem-solving process, they develop ownership, courage, and creative faith.
Change often begins when people are confronted with truth. Reality forces decision. Whether the challenge is stagnation, a broken system, or outdated methods, facing what’s not working opens the door to fresh strategies and divine ideas.
Even “noble failures” can lead to breakthroughs when viewed correctly. When mistakes are used as learning opportunities instead of reasons for shame, ministries move forward faster. Growth always follows humility and teachability.
Romans 12:2 instructs believers not to conform to this world but to be transformed by renewing the mind. A renewed mind is essential for a renewed ministry.
A fixed mindset says, “This is how we’ve always done it.” It resists correction, fears risk, and avoids change. A growth mindset says, “God is still speaking, still expanding, and still leading us forward.”
Leaders with a growth mindset:
See challenges as opportunities to mature in Christ
Receive correction with humility
Embrace feedback and training
Model resilience and forward focus
Multiply leaders rather than compete with them
Growth-minded leadership believes in transformation through faith and effort. It recognizes that process produces purpose—that even trials serve to mature and strengthen the church.
Many ministries are hindered by what this message calls “ANTs”—Automatic Negative Thoughts.
These ANTs whisper:
“Nothing good ever happens for me.”
“I’ll never succeed.”
“Everyone’s against me.”
But these lies contradict God’s truth. Every believer has been anointed, appointed, and empowered to advance His Kingdom. Renewed thinking—rooted in faith, not fear—breaks limitation and unlocks new levels of fruitfulness.
A fixed mindset leads to circling the same mountains year after year. It’s the mindset of the Israelites who saw giants instead of promise. Yet a growth mindset echoes Joshua and Caleb:
“Let us go up at once and possess the land, for we are well able!”
When God’s people embrace change, they step out of containment and into the abundant life He designed.
A true kingdom mindset seeks God’s way of doing things in every area. It’s a mindset that refuses stagnation, embraces correction, and boldly moves forward in faith.
Change isn’t the enemy—it’s the evidence of life. Ministries that adapt with the Spirit of God will not just survive seasons of change; they will thrive, expand, and multiply for generations to come.
